- Reed Hancock Added January 14, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great place to grab a bite to eat. Although it is quite expensive. Food is adequate but not amazing. Really nice to hang out at with the water. Have only been during the day. Staff are very nice. Great for kids with an indoor movie theatre and 2 small playgrounds.

I had lunch of salt and pepper calamari and chips in the Pokies room around 2.30pm yesterday the cut off time and it only cost $5 as l am a member of the group Montys Rewards the Hotel belongs to (a light meal costs $7 non members)
- Jenni Pollard Added June 30, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We usually love Kawana Waters Hotel but our last two visits have been disappointing. Our last visit was Sunday for Mother's Day. It was busy and we understood this, the young waitresses looked like they would rather be somewhere else ????, hardley smiled or engaged with guests. The bar staff were great, the lady that took our order also great.
We arrived at 2pm for a late lunch as suggested when I rang up earlier. We waited almost an hour for our food which is fine because it was busy, however all our meals were cold, my husbands ribs, my mother's day chicken special and the kids pizza - cold! Why didn't we say something? because we were starving and didn't want to wait again ???? and not one waitress even asked how our meal was when the plates were cleared even when she could see the plates almost full, but we were done.
A similar experience the time before on a regular weekend.
Kawana Waters Hotel has been wonderful up until the last two visits so I hope it is not going to continue.
I may give you one more try but after that we will take our family elsewhere.
