  My friend who is undergoing cancer treatment had ordered the $8.00 fruit berry smoothie.
  Upon tasting this she immediately noticed it was watery and the taste had a sickly sweetness.
  
  When we kindly queried this with the waitress she explained what the actual ingredients were …. ‘fruit flavoured’ powder & sugar!

  Firstly, train your staff, the young girl behind the counter has an attitude and should not be in the service industry. Secondly, your new menu shows that a large cup of hot chocolate is $6.90 with my choice of chocolate and flavour. She was trying to charge me $7.40. Won't be coming back.

  Okay, it was a very busy Saturday lunchtime, and staff were understandably run off their feet. However, when ordering quickly, as I knew what I wanted, the attendant had no smile and only an air of impatience. When the waiter delivered my tea, they asked if that was all and reached to whisk away my table number. I stopped them, saying I still had a crepe coming. Though beautifully presented, the crepe was bland and filled only with airated cream. There was barely any flavour, even with banana, toffee, and single small ice cream scoop topping. The teapot lid was dirty. I thought to myself; at least the peppermint tea was refreshing. Disappointed and I won't be back, but I hope they improve service for those who do return.

  Was a great shop before, but now it is not even ok. We got burning hot coffee, the staff who made our coffee was teaching another staff…..to me, no passion and skill in our coffee; to them, just the money before they closed shop. I had visited here many times, gave the shop many chances, not worth anymore…..will try other Cafe shops, that the barista has passion, not just heat milk incorrectly and mix with the coffee water. Their coffee is not worth their price. Only chocolate is still good.( not made by their unprofessional staff)

  Every time I go to Kawana I have to go to OliverBrown. Great coffee, delicious chocolate and nice environment. Staff are friendly but could be more enthusiastic
